FREE Internship Program: Available year-round (four different sessions). Directly from website: "NASA Internships are educational hands-on opportunities that provide unique NASA-related research and operational experiences for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students as well as educators. These internships integrate participants with career professionals emphasizing mentor-directed, degree-related, real-time world task completion. During the internship participants engage in scientific or engineering research, development, and operations activities. In addition, there are non-technical internship opportunities to engage in professional activities which support NASA business and administrative processes. Through these internships, participants leverage NASA's unique mission activities and mentorship to enhance and increase their professional capabilities and clarify their long-term career goals."

    Engineering Career Day at NJIT
FREE Workshop: Directly from website: "The Newark College of Engineering hosts an “Engineering Career Day” on the campus of NJIT. The program is designed to give high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to explore options in six diverse engineering fields, all on the same day. Biomedical Engineering, Chemical, Biological & Pharmaceutical Engineering, Civil & Environmental Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, and Engineering Technology. Students will be escorted throughout the campus, and your students will be able to meet with currently enrolled engineering students and faculty. In addition, there are a series of workshops that are run concurrently with these student tours, oriented to both teachers and guidance counselors and professional development credits will be awarded.
